I am replying here to Tim Garrett's message. My recollection is that Gladys Shrimp was owned by Craig and Emily Smith who later sold their business when they split up. I have heard from Emily but not Craig, but I think they've both done well and been happy. I still have several Gladys Shrimp articles -- 2 belts I cannot get rid of even though I can't get into them these days; 1 hat (the other got lost along the way); a pocketbook that still looks pretty good; and a signed original guitar strap that I treasure. Their stuff was beautifully made and was some of the nicest I had ever seen for that era. I hope you were able to get your repairs done. I'd love to know if the shop is still in Athens.
I will be going to the Rally to Restore Sanity. I'm not completely sure why I feel compelled to go. I may be able to understand this better after I've gone, been buffeted in a crowd, and come out the other side. In the meantime, here's hoping everyone who wishes to

The way I see it, there are so many things you want to do with your life and you're quite lost on when will you start your journey. The only advice I can give is for you to take it easy. Rushing things will not work unless you have your definite plan to make it work. But I am hoping that once you find your real purpose, you will be able to focus on things that really matter for you because that's important. For you to find your purpose, you must know your priorities first.
